How fun can a ride on a train be? And an old engine train? I really didn't think it was anything special until I took the ride on Puffing Billy, the steam engine, into the Dandenong Ranges...
Hanging your legs outside the train is best way to enjoy the ride...
It was a scenic ride into the Dandenong Ranges... the hills and the plains, the plantations and the grapevines...
The kids had a ball at this playground at the Emerald Lake Park where we also had our picnic lunch. It was a fun day out.
