Mid-autumn festival

We had a feast of mooncake during the week leading up to the mid-autumn festival. Although the mooncake didn't seem to taste as good as we had before in S'pore, we still enjoyed the sweet cakes.

At church, we celebrated with friends with dinner and a concert and ended the great evening for the kids to walk their lanterns...

We hunted high and low and finally found an Asian grocery shop selling these paper lanterns. Tricia picked the biggest from the small box of about 20... really miss the lantern galore in S'pore...but for now, this is still a treasure.
