Tricia's 6th Birthday Party

Tricia turned 6 years old on the 15th January 2009. We celebrated her special day with family and friends at Ah Yi's place at Merawoods. On a Sunday evening, we met with all our favourite people, eating Ah Ma's superb cooking of chicken curry and fried Beehoon, plus satay and otak too!

That's the Pinata, with Tricia's favourite disney princesses . We bought it at HollandV and filled it up heaps of candies. We had a long discussion on how to use the Pinata. To avoid the violent hitting of the beautiful Pinata, we decided to give Tricia the 'honour' of opening the Pinata by pulling the string under it.

The candies should fall out from the opening but they all kind of got stuck! So you can see Tricia hitting the Pinata here! It was hilarious!!! And Ah Gu is seen here holding on to the Pinata cos we can't find a place to tie it up. After much 'hitting' and tugging, the candies and chocolates finally descended onto the floor, ready for the game. All the kids went home with a bag full of goodies, depending on many times they get to run up to pick up 6 candies each time!
