Corn

Last Spring, Cynthia gave me a tiny seedling to pop into my garden bed. It was a corn seedling, just a palm size. When I left for S'pore last Christmas, it was only about 10cm tall. I didn't think it would survive the summer heatwave. Plus, lack of care when the gardener is away. And Papa nearly pulled it out thinking it was weed.



So here it is, after about 4 months, it has grown as tall as Tricia. And there is a baby corn hanging down from it's stalk. When those pink-like hair turns brown, we'll harvest it...
