Yesterday, Timothy packed off to his very first school camp from the 2nd September to 5th September at Ballarat.
He's very excited about the trip. He'll be staying with his teachers, classmates and schoolmates in the grades 3 and 4 at the Narmbool Lodge, a 3.5 star motel style accomodation.
It's quite a surreal feeling helping him pack his sausage bag of clothes and toiletries. He's got his own sleeping too. I must have asked him a hundredth time if he needed anything else and he just looked up at me the morning before we left for school, "Mummy, can you stop worrying?" Ooops... I then decided to step back and enjoy the moment... It was actually really fun...Meeting all the kids at school, all with their bags and all soooooo excited.
On the last day, they will also visit Sovereign Hill.
We miss him. The house is really quiet without Timothy. Last night, Tricia asked to pray for him and his safety at the camp, how sweet!
We look forward to seeing him and hearing all about his camp experience.

Oh boy! our little Timothy has grown so much...so fast, going off to his 1st camping trip. I bet he is going to be as tall as me in a couple of years time. Time to let go & let him grow.
