An aussie bbq consists of sausages and beef. We had chicken and pork sausages. Once cooked, place on a slice of bread, top with onions and tomato sauce.
All the stuffs are cooked on a hot plate, powered by gas. No need to build a fire with charcoal and fire starter. A great way to cook and enjoy the company.
Well, we're from SG. So, someone cooked beehoon and curry. And someone's great way to remind us of home, Yeo's packet drink to go with the food. The 8 adults also had beer, wine and champaign. East meets West. The best was the dessert, krispy creme donuts!!! So naturally, we won't be going home so soon. Lounging lazily on deck chairs, we had coffee and tea and chatted till 6pm.
Where're the kids? They played nearby at the playground and the field. Where's Timothy? The 2 boys, Timothy and Jacob disappeared to the big field with their footy and only came back for food and drinks. At least, I caught Jacob here for a brief moment...
Tricia with Natalie and Emily. The girls taking a cool break and had an ice cream cone each.
The weather was just perfect. Sunny with cool breeze. And we had a great spot under a huge tree. Mummy and Papa had such an enjoyable time. We would love to do this again.
