Singapore Day 2008

The day started early for us...So EXCITED to be going to the city to join the SG crowd and savour the delicious food that we missed so much. We were also looking forward to see none other than PCK and family.

The kids enjoying the 'wait'... still happy... they got quite 'mad' when they were too 'starvatious'.

Very looooooooooong Q...the Q snaked all the way down the slope and onto the pavement when we arrived at 10.40am. We joined the Q and also met Aunty Yoke Sim and Uncle Wing Kee. They went in early, senior citizens got privilege. Lucky folks. We were in the Q for an hour before we stepped into the Sydney Myer Music Bowl.

The throngs of people waiting at the food stalls... that's a fraction of the 12000 people who turned up. I must say that it was very well organised. And the food is free! ;)

So guess what we did first? Eat. No!!! Not before we collected our goody bags. Lots and lots of goody bags. T-shirts, bookmarks, brochures, phonecards, eraser, chaptay, Newater, Yeo's drinkpack, Kaya, etc...

And the highlight is PCK and family... He's funny...

And our get together with Janice, Terence and their son Timothy.

We stayed till the show ended at 5.00pm. Very happy!
