Whitehorse Spring Festival

We live in the City of Whitehorse. The 2008 Whitehorse Spring Festival celebrates the diversity of Whitehorse through dance, music, food and a variety of community displays and activities.

Look! The bravest girl crossing the swinging bridge, all by herself. No fear at all.

At the Live Snake Show:

That's a very heavy snake over my shoulders... But we loved it.

At the Farm Animals Enclosure:

The kids feeding the turkey and the sheeps. They had a great time touching the farm animals. There were goats, pigs, chickens and ducks too.

Timothy: Eeeew! Yucks!!! Your breathe stinks! You stinky Alpaca, you need to brush your teeth!!!

We went early. To beat the crowd. In fact, we were there 5 minutes before opening time. And thought we would just browse around for a short while and leave for other errands to run on a very precious Sunday. But it was so much fun. We stayed till almost 2pm.

For Mummy and Papa, the best treat was the Nasi Padang... Yum!

wonderful to have the kids in touch with some farm animals. They are really shown the right approach, at least I don't expect Tricia to be screaming at the sight of snakes, but Timothy....I'm not so sure yet, need more training.
