Grandparents

Timothy and Tricia's paternal grandparents came to live with them for the last 5 weeks. They just left yesterday. YeYe and MaMa and grandkids had a great time catching up and spending time together. Well, mostly, the kids are getting pampered. Always a joyful time for kids to have grandparents around. I remember growing up having my grandparents' love and pampering...

At Skyhigh Mount Dandenong, The Giant's Chair big enough for MaMa and YeYe and their 4 grandchildren.

When grandparents are here, kids get showered with alot of attention.

When grandparents are here, kids get loads of treats... (The pantry is well-stocked with the kids favourite snacks, chips and chocolates and cookies)


When grandparents are here, it's time to shop for their favourite things...(Tricia got her bumper princess collection book and Timothy got his Guinness Book of World Records 2009... and lots more)


When grandparents are here, kids also start getting AWAY with alot too (from chores and discipline)!


When grandparents are here, parents also get quite abit of time-off minding the kids...so much so that I miss having them all to myself.

My kids are blessed to have both sets of grandparents coming over to live them here this year. Their maternal grandparents, Ah Gong and Ah Ma, were here twice this year... Although a short stay each time, we always enjoy the period of togetherness. We appreciate this precious family time of sharing and learning from each other.

Now we look forward to going back to S'pore...
